MJ Robinson Structures is one of the Midlands most well-known steel fabricators and Lennox IT work with them to manage their IT infrastructure, on-site and off-site backup solutions, email and website.

At the very beginning of the company, MJ Robinson brought in Lennox IT to create their initial IT infrastructure. We deployed several Dell workstations complete with Windows 7 / Office 2010 and setup cloud e-mails and a central NAS server for their office documents. We implemented our standard managed back-up system across the whole site and later helped them deploy specialist StruMIS technical software to manage their business operations.

Since then, we have upgraded MJ Robinson to Windows 10 and Office 365 and have migrated them over to a full corporate domain network powered by Windows Server 2019. We are extremely proud to still be MJ Robinson's only IT Support supplier and to have helped the company grow from around a small start-up to a multi-million pound business.

Networking & Telecoms

Lennox IT performed two separate CAT-6 network installations for MJ Robinson; first a small 10 socket installation in their first office and later - after major expansion to the company - a larger 100 socket upgrade. We installed and configured 4 x 24 port network switches and an enterprise class TP-Link business router to help balance the network load across their wired and wireless networks. We provided consultancy to help MJ Robinson establish their Telecom requirements and then together with our partners at BT Local Business helped them to install a BT Quantum digital switchboard together with call queuing facilities.

Lennox IT have also helped MJ Robinson to wire in a digital CCTV system across their whole site along with a state-of-the-art number plate reader and a wall mounted HD monitoring panel in their central office.

Website Development

Lennox IT set up MJ Robinson with a basic, starter website to give them an initial web presence and help with their other marketing efforts. The website features a gallery, contact form, and plenty of information about the company and the services they offer. The website was later expanded with a quotation form to encourage visitors to interact with the company.

We also performed our basic SEO service, getting them setup on Google and Bing search engines and creating a Google Places account to help customers find MJ Robinson on the Google Maps service.
