Unlike your average "IT helpdesks", we are an experienced team of IT and network engineers that can offer your business a complete range of IT services covering full support and IT management, network management and installations, project management, bespoke business applications, and more.
Lennox IT is a family-run business IT solutions company based in Derbyshire. We have been trading since 2012 and our team has over 20 years’ experience in commercial IT, working with businesses across the UK. We pride ourselves on our high level of expertise across a wide range of IT disciplines which we are able to provide to our customers at a very competitive price. Our philosophy is to deliver straight-forward IT solutions using off-the-shelf hardware that works for your business (not the other way around).
We are family owned and run so the support you receive will always be personal and tailored to your specific needs. We do not use call centres and all of our engineers understand tech and can bring value to your business. Where we can, we prefer to interact with our customers face-to-face and we are not shy about coming onto site when it makes sense to do so. We understand the demands of modern businesses both large and small and we work hard to provide solutions which make sense for your size and budget.

Our story
From repairing PCs part-time in Derby to a managed IT company based in Heanor.
- 2005
Sam Lennox starts part-time trading as “Lennox IT”, repairing PCs for people in the local Derby area.
- 2011
Olly Lennox starts freelancing as “Xona Solutions”, building websites and software for a range of clients.
- 2012
Sam and Olly join forces and begin taking on business customers for websites, IT support and networking.
- 2015
“Xona Solutions” is dropped (nobody could spell it!) and everything moves under the Lennox IT name.
- 2017
The company keeps growing and becomes Lennox IT Limited, VAT registered.
- 2019
We move into our first office, nicknamed “The Shed” (it really was a windowless shed) at Horsley Lodge Golf Club.
- 2020
Our first employee, Mark, joins as IT engineer and systems specialist.
- 2021
Mark is closely followed by Callum, our second IT engineer and networking specialist.
- 2023
Archie joins as our junior IT engineer.
- 2024
We move into our new office in Heanor.
- 2025
Caroline joins the team as our office manager.
- 2026
Owen joins the team as a networking engineer.
